Tuesday 11th August
Message from the Edward Edwards library:
‘The Edward Edwards library in Niton is reopening to the public from tomorrow, Wednesday 12th August. It will be open every Wednesday and Saturday between 10-12. Home deliveries and click and collect are no longer available. There will be a maximum of 2 browsers and 1 public computer user allowed in at any one time.’
Using the online council library website or the Spydus mobile app
By telephoning 01983 730863 (an answerphone service will be available from 14th July) or to speak to a volunteer please call Wednesday or Saturday between 10-12.
Please have the name of the author and title of the book you would like to borrow and your library card number to hand. If you have a preferred genre we can supply you with a ‘lucky dip” if you don’t know titles and authors.
Until we are allowed to open to the public this system will operate every Wednesday and Saturday. We will call you to arrange a delivery or collection time.
We hope we will be able to open, with restrictions, in August but this will be determined by the Isle of Wight Council library service.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
